A good reputation goes a long way.</p> <p>A helpful thing to remember is: &#8220;Don&#8217;t take things personally.&#8221; People are what they are.  Their personalities have been molded by their own lives. You can choose to either retaliate, or just play along by standing your ground &amp; being your own good self.</p> <p>I have a few clients whom no one else can tolerate. I find things to like about them, I help them with their needs, and they become my friends (or at least repeat clients.) And they trust me.
